D. at the Memorial

Reflection: Today is the anniversary of the tragedy in Newtown, CT. The memory of this day still haunts the heart of this country and all over the US, groups of citizens joined together to honor the memory of the victims and their families. We attended one of these memorials in the middle of a huge snow storm but the glow of the candles and spirits shown brightly against the weather.  I had the honor of reading the names and ages of the children. Our prayers joined with many to cry out for the end of violence.
