Reflection: Since I am always in the mood for comedy, Ken and I checked out the new Brooklyn Nine-Nine. Good stuff. Not great, but worth a watch.

Reflection: Since I am still pretty worn out from the trip, I needed something short and sweet to contemplate the majesty of Christ the King. So, I did what any travel worn priest would do: Google meditation videos. Here's what I found:

Reflection: One of the gifts that I brought back to Ken was liquid Dead Sea salt from the world famous Ahava factory that we visited while there. I used a little bit of that (which his permission of course!) for a detox bath and it was just what I needed to reset from the trip.

Bottom Line: Surprisingly not great. 

Reflection: OK- I honestly cannot remember if I watched this on the way to or from Israel -- such is the nature of jet-lag-- but we will use it for today since getting home was big enough. Now, I normally love anything that matches Johnny Depp and Tim Burton up, and this one had all the makings of something fun and dark (their specialties). I even have a soft spot in my heart for the original Dark Shadows (a kitschy soap opera with vampires) since my old piano teacher used to love it and would tape it and pay me to catalog her collection for her. But this was not good. Not good at all. Such a bummer.
