Bottom Line: Yes, this totally has to do with Mary.
Reflection: This one might be a bit of a stretch to stay on the "Mary as the May Queen" theme that we have going this week, but it's my blog, so that's the way it will be today. My mother, Debbie, (who is herself a mother is like Mary since Mary is the mother of Jesus and seen as the most Blessed Mother of all) makes the most killer dream bars. Therefore, making my mother's tried-and-true recipe for these was like honoring the spirit of mothers every where??!! (sure). She sent me this about 3 years ago and I never got around to making them until today when we had a clergy lunch today honoring The Rev. Dr. Sandy McCurdy who is a Jungian Psychotherapist who does dream interpretation, so these seemed appropriate for him. And Mary of course. (Just go with it).
