Ready for a wedding!

Reflection: Today was a very banner day. Ali, Doug and I made our way down to Maryland for the wedding of our dear childhood friend, Cassie, to her beloved, Greg. It was so very special to see our dear friend become a wife and it was so awesome to see Kelly, Adam and our other friends! I love you, Cassie!! My God bless you both!

Before the wedding, Ali and I had another fantastic (albeit random) adventure. In the very hotel we were staying at, there happened to be a huge Song Bird Competition. We decided to poke our heads in and we were greeted with a warm welcome from one of the heads of the organization. He taught us all about this 300 year old hobby (for example, the American Singer Canaries, which were the birds at this competition, can sing up to 10 different songs a piece) and even let us into one of the judging sessions where we heard 9 birds vie for the number one spot. It was, at the same time, both relaxing and exciting. So cool!
