Reflection: Today is another parenting first for me: My first parent/teacher conference. Delia goes to a wonderful Episcopal Montessori School and today Ken and I sat down with her teacher to discuss how she is doing. This was really fun because Delia is normally so tight-lipped about what her days are like that we call her the "Little Soviet." So, now we know that she is making wonderful improvements, that she is well loved, and that she can be stubborn. All things are very true! My favorite line from her report card was, "we now believe that Delia knows not to lick the cream cheese knife." I am seriously so proud!
Knowing not to and resisting temptation are two different things. ;)
